Discover the breathtaking landscape surrounding the Stroblhof farmhouse on your active holiday in the picture perfect Toblach. There are many places to visit, for example the picturesque Toblacher lake or Landro lake. You will find many pathways from light walks to clear marked hiking trails.
If you would like something more adventurous you could climb one of the 3 peaks or hike to the top of Birkenkofel or Sarlkofel the two local mountains visible from the whole of Toblach.
Family action you can find in one of the many playgrounds, in the public pool with natural water from a local spring and also a rope course climbing park.
Mountain bike around Dobbiaco
Mountain and gravel biking around Toblach: If you have your own bike with you, it is well worth discovering the area on two wheels. The Pustertal valley has many bike tours and wonderful cycle routes to other towns and cities, for example: Lienz, Bruneck, Innichen and Cortina. From Lienz, Innichen and Bruneck you can return by train. If you would like a more difficult tour, we can suggest going to the Silvesteralm or up to the mountain hut on Markinkele mountain. In need of a bike? There are many bike hire opportunities in and around Toblach.
In winter, the ice rink is less than ten minutes away by foot. The Rienz ski slope is and the Nordic arena for cross country skiing are situated within two kilometres. The ski bus stop is in the centre of Toblach and will take you directly to the ski resorts further from Toblach, so you can have an unforgettable skiing holiday in the Dolomites.
Culture lovers will be met with many opportunities at the Grand Hotel concert hall, the most famous being the Gustav Mahler week.
Places to visit while in Toblach: The Town heating plant, where sustainable heating is produced for the homes of Toblach. Visit The Drei Zinnen cheese plant situated in Toblach and see how the local cheeses are produced. The Culture Centre Grand Hotel, with the famous Gustav Mahler Music Hall.
Our farm is simple across the road from the pedestrian centre of Toblach, with supermarkets, bakeries, banks, bars, a post office and doctor’s practice. The local buses stop just a few metres from the farm and will take you to nearby villages such as Aufkirchen and Wahlen as well as the train station and Nordic arena.
